Mrs. Pinkey Mae King Brown, 88, passed on Monday, August 7, 2017 at the Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation in Glennville, Ga. The Wheeler County native lived most of her life in Glennville, Ga. She was a license beautician and a license minister with the Southeasthern District of the Church of God Organization. She loved preaching, singing, and telling others about Jesus Christ. She was a dedicated member of the Railroad Avenue Church of God in Jesup, Ga. until her health failed.

She loved to visit all churches in the community. She was a participant in the Annual Sweet Onion Parade in Glennville, Ga. and other parades. She was a volunteer with American Cancer Society, a volunteer of the formative years of the Empty Stocking Funds and the (GAMA) Glennville Area Ministerial Alliance.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elder Willie 'Bill' Brown of almost 62 years and she was preceded in death by her siblings: Bernice Collins, George King, Sr., Rubena Surrency, Ruben King, Sr., Zadine Walker and Sam King.

She is survived by her daughter Annie Pearl Brown of Reidsville, Ga., three grandchildren: Rhonda (Elder Nathaniel) Richardson of Forest Park, Ga., Derek Wicker of Jacksonville, Fla., and Myra (Shawn) Cooper of Hampton, VA, a host of great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

King and Son's Funeral and Cremation Services, 5236 Highway 301 S., Glennville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.

Friday, August 11, 2017 from 1:00pm - 6:00pm and the wake service from 6:00pm - 7:00pm in the Ruben King, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home.
