Alexander Shellman

Alexander "Bubba" Shellman is the eldest son of Dr. and Mrs. Lonnie Westly Shellman. He was born September 20, 1928 in Eulonia, Georgia. He departed this life February 15, 2021 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA. He received his early childhood education at Eulonia Elementary School and his secondary education at Todd Grant High School. One September 29, 1947, he enlisted in the US Armed Forces. He served 4 years, after which he was released with an honorable discharge. He was an entrepreneur that included several businesses; insurance, retail sales, television, and radio repair and a convenient store. In 1981, he received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and became born again. He was a member of God's True Deliverance Church, in Charleston, South Carolina. He leaves to mourn his passing 7 sisters; Sadie Gardner, Atlanta, GA; Laura Burke, South Chesterfield, VA; Nellie Lee, Suitland, MD; Lottie Alston, Atlanta, GA; Frances Howell (Marshall), Midway, GA; Marie Baker, Richmond Hill, GA; Queen Shellman, Freedman Grove, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
