Berry Tigner Iii

"Frog Leg" was born Berry Tigner lll on January 3, 1954 to Barry Tigner, Jr. and Sallie Mae Tigner in Tattnall County, Georgia. He attended Tattnall County School Systems throughout his early years. He joined Greater Zachariah in Glennville, GA, at an early age and he was a member of the choir.

He began working when he was very young with his Father, pulp wooding and picking tobacco with WA Rogers and Sons. As he got older he started working at Georgia Pacific. He also worked at various places in Georgia and Florida pouring concrete and working at a telephone company fixing phone lines.

He moved to Fort Myers, Florida in 2006 and was reunited with the love of his life, Shirley, and they later married April 10, 2007.

He was an amazing father, grandfather, uncle, nephew, and cousin. His wonderful grandkids were his pride and joy. He loved cooking, spending time with his family, fishing and going to church. He was under the leadership of Pastor, Allen and Co-Pastor, Mary Stockton as an active member of New Image Tabernacle in Fort Myers, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Barry Tigner, Jr.; Mother, Sallie Mae Tigner; Aunt, Annie Mae Hayward; Niece, Samantha Tigner; Nephew, Setric Tigner. He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his Wife, Shirley Tigner; Daughters: Pamela (Robert) Miller (Fountain, CO); Patricia White (Hinesville, GA); Waksishia Coley (Durham, NC); Sons: Patrick (Dottie) Montgomery (Glennville, GA); Louis (Auril) Byrd (Bellville, GA); Bonus Son: Sentell (Keisha) Coley (Lithonia, GA); and Fur Son (Dog): Blade Tigner (Ft Myers, FL); 19 Grandkids and 22 Great-grandkids; Sister, Patricia (Edgar) Davis (Glennville, GA); Brothers: James Tigner; Calvin (Christina) Tigner; Ervin (Quawonda) Tigner, (All of Glennville, GA); Uncles: Jessie B. Tigner (Savannah, GA); Milton Tigner (Pembroke, GA); Sister in laws: Luetisha, Geannett, and Cherlyn Thomas (All of Ft. Lauderdale, FL); Brother in law: Harry (Sandra) Thomas (Ft. Lauderdale, FL); Special Niece: Tichina (Keith) Mack (Conyers, GA); A Special Friend, Angelia Satterwhite (Durham, NC); Special Friends of Glennville, GA: Jessie Levant, Muriel Durrence, and Robbie Johnson; Special Friends of Ft.
