Billy Hubba Bubba Leemon Fate

Mr. Billy Leemon Fate was born on May 13, 1959 to Mr. Sam Fate and Dorceil Mobley Fate in Brooklyn, New York.  Both parents preceded him in death. He departed this earthly home on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga. Billy was a native of Glennville but resided in Savannah, Georgia.  He attended the public schools of Tattnall County and received the nick name 'Hubba Bubba' from his friend the late Richard King. He was a member of Litway Missionary Baptist Church (Dr. Rev. Leonard Small) in Savannah, Ga. Billy was married to Jacqueline Arthur. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his siblings: Samuel (Marie) Fate - Savannah, Ga; Brenda (Thomas) McClendon - Savannah, Ga.; Marilyn (Emory) Grant - Glennville, Ga; Moses (Rhonda) Fate - Savannah, Ga; Kathleen (Hamus) Harvey - Midway, Ga; Jerrel Fate - Savannah, Ga; Major Fate - Savannah, Ga.; and Calvin Fate - New York. One brother James Fate preceded him in death. He also leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles:  Helen Harvey, Laverne (Clinton, Sr. ) Daughtry, Geraldine (E.C.) Davis, Linda Williams,  Gloria (Samuel) Hill, Gwitha (Willie) Warren, Apostle Harry (Lottie) Brown, Floretha Brown, Doretha Harris, Mary Harvell, Geraldine Green and Vernell Capers. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins and a dear friend, Delvickieo Miles of Savannah, Georgia. Visitation: One hour prior to the service Funeral: Saturday February 27, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Zion Temple Holiness Church in Glennville, GA There will be no viewing after the eulogy. Interment: Tuesday, March 1, 2016, 4:00pm at the Robert Chapel Cemetery, Glennville, Ga.
