Billy William Mcmillan

Billy William McMillan was born on January 23,

1959, to the late Thirston and Lillie Mae McMillan in

Baxley, Georgia. He departed this life to rest from all his

labor on January 30, 2024.

Billy was a product of the Appling County School

System and carried the lessons of his youth into a life

characterized by hard work and dedication. His work ethic

was evident through the time he devoted to FRP, General

Housing, and Hazlehurst Mills. On his off time, he was

known to spend his leisure fishing and watching football

and the westerns. Billy's personality added a unique and

unforgettable dimension to those who knew him best. He

was widely recognized for his humor and mischievous

nature that added a playful spark to countless memories

shared with loved ones.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Thirston

and Lillie Mae McMillan; son, Bryan McMillan; sister, Mary

Gordon; brother, John C. Williams.
