Mr. Bobby Joe Chieves was born on November 14, 1949, to the late Willie Avery and Lillie Mae Pace Chieves in Lumber City, Ga. He departed this life on June 29, 2021, at his residence in Miami, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Angie Chieves; one grand Kiynen Chieves; his brothers: Johnny, Marvin, James, Theartis Chieves and sisters Evangelist Marie McCowan and Evangelist Ophelia Plummer.
He attended the Lumber City School System. Later, he made his home in Miami, Florida. He was a hard-working man. He retired after being employed by The City of Miami for many years.
He enjoyed and loved his family, but most of all he loved the Lord. He enjoyed great singing and preaching. When he came home, he always remembered his family Church "Love Temple".
He loved to paint in his spare time. God bless him to paint his brother's house and to repaint "Love Temple." He leaves to cherish to his memories: two sons: Kenneth Chieves of Louisiana and Mark Daniels of Hollywood, FL. His grandchildren: Kenneth Jr., Keneasha, Demetrius, Houser, Kendra Antione. Two sisters: Rosa Mae Tobler of Lumber City, Ga and Annie Lee Young of Atlanta, GA. Sister-in-law, Jinnie Mae Chieves of Lumber City, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Bobby was also survived by his loving companion, the late Lucy Johnson of Miami, FL.
