Bobby Solomon Peterson

Mr. Bobby Peterson was born December 14,1935 to

the late Sherman and Nora Peterson. He departed this life

to rest from all his labor on March 19, 2024.

Bobby joined the United States Army in 1952 and

faithfully served his country until 1956. While residing in

Anchorage, Alaska he later joined the United States Army

Reserves. He was a member of the Piney Grove Missionary

Baptist Church for many years. Bobby was a man of his word

and loved his church family.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman

and Nora Peterson; wife, Covodis E. Peterson; son,

Benjamin Peterson; and daughter, Shanda McClendon.

Memories of Bobby will rest in the hearts of his

stepson, Jerry McClendon; grandchildren, Cameo

McClendon, Jessica Brown, Jerrell Peterson, and Monique

Peterson; and his great-grandchildren, extended family,

church family, and friends.
