On the morning of March 31, 2022, Missionary Grant accepted her call to eternal rest at Memorial Health in Savannah, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Atris and Cassie Lovett; husband, Harvey Grant; children,Dennis (Anna) Williams, Angeline Summersett, and Lisa Grant; and brothers, Sidney and Sylvester Lovett.
Those left to cherish her precious memories and uphold her legacy include her children, Georgia Mae(Jessie) Lavant, Danny (Maggie) Williams, Willie (Valencia) Williams, Annette Lovett, Rebecca (George) Hill, Tracey (Dr. Matthew) Joyce, and Janie Lovett, all of Glennville, Georgia, and Rose Colton of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; five stepchildren; three grandchildren she raised as her own, Dennis, DennAshia, and Darius Williams; 51 grandchildren; 87 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sisters, Dessine (Horace) Hines, Dollie Ann Bacon, Ida Mae (Oscar) Grimes, and Elder Gertie (Bishop Wallace) Grant, all of Glennville, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Patsy Lovett, Dorothy Grant, and Ruby (Pete) Johnson; brother-in-law, Hilton (Catherine) Grant; godchildren, Bishop Tevin Roberts,Apostle Carlos Wright, Zakhi Davis, Tricey Burney, Shannon "Lollipop," and Sheila McKever; special friends, Rita Mae and Julius Stalvey, Gloria Winters Christ, and Deborah Denson Harris; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
