Mrs. Cattie Lee Hodges answered the Master's call on February 25, 2022. She was born on June 13, 1934, in North Carolina. Her parents are the late Beatrice M. Leach (mother), the late Harvey Campbell (father), the late Joseph Leach (stepfather), and Willie Mae Campbell (stepmother).
She was married to the late Rev. Charles C. Hodges and they were the parents of two daughters.
She was a member of the St. James CME Church in Lumber City, Georgia, where she was a stewardess. She was employed by the Lumber City Elementary School System as an Assistance Head Cook for many years. She worked as a substitute teacher at the Jeff Davis Middle School. Her final employment was with Amercord in Lumber City, where she worked for 17 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, her spouse, sister Josie Campbell and brother Randy Campbell.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Stepmother, Willie Mae Campbell; Two loving daughters: Charlotta B. Hodges Nixon and Sabrina Hodges Butts, spouse Otis; Grandchildren: Dwaine Hodges, spouse Misty, Janaye Nixon, Fredrick Sullivan II, Shelton Sullivan, Precious Mincey, Marlena Mincey, and Otis Mincey. Great grandchildren: Ta'Corian Sean Hodges, Ki'Mauri Nixon; A sister: Katherine Campbell; brothers: L. C. Campbell, Thomas Campbell, Lawrence Campbell, Theodore Campbell, and Robert Leach, spouse Janice. And a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
