Charles Lavon Grant was born on August 15th, 1970 in Tattnall County, Ga. to Dorothy Grant. He became absent from the body and present with the Lord on Saturday, October 21st, 2023.

Charles was joined in Holy Matrimony to Betty Charles Grant on August 8th, 2018.

He was raised in Glennville, Ga. and attended, at that time, Glennville High School. Class of 1989.

In the year of 2016, he became a faithful member of Yahweh Apostolic Ministry where he served as a musician (drummer) until his transition to Streetsalt Ministry in August of 2023, located in Jesup, Ga. Under the leadership of Pastor, Joseph Stewart.

Charles worked as a masonry for most of his adult life with Pete's Construction and Porter Construction, and then later went into house-framing until his health began to decline.

Charles was affectionately known as "Charlie Brown" by the community. He was known for his crafty jokes, fishing, being hard-working, his love for family, and his sweet tooth. Charles had a work ethic that was unmatched and had a passion for all things outdoors.
