Charles Wesley Jones Jr.

Charles Wesley Jones, Jr. was born on January 6, 1998, to Charles Jones, Sr. and Cindy Griner. Charles was affectionately known as "CJ" to those who loved him.

Charles was educated in the Jeff Davis County School System, until his senior year. He then went to Appling County High School and graduated with the class of 2016. Charles was a protective, nurturing, and guiding figure who selflessly provided for his family. He was loved by his family and friends, hardworking, and warm hearted. The love of his life, Emily, often referred to him as her "handsome" man. Charles enjoyed trying new foods, cooking, watching movies, anime, and playing video games with friends.

Charles entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Jones Wilson; aunt, Patricia Wilson; uncle, Antonio Wilson, Sr.

Fond memories of Charles will remain in the hearts of his life partner: Emily Duhart of Baxley, Georgia; daughter: Kyrah Jones of Baxley, Georgia; parents: Charles Jones, Sr. (Amanda) of Hazlehurst, Georgia and Cindy Griner of Dublin, Georgia; sisters: Xiveria Griner of Alma, Georgia and Tiamara Jones of Eastman, Georgia; brothers: Ezekiel Griner of Jesup, Georgia, Tavarean Jones and Keandrea Jones, both of Hazlehurst, Georgia; grandparents: Tilford Griner (Betty) of Baxley, Georgia, Willie Mae Griner of Daleville, Alabama; and Finley Vann of Graham, Georgia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
