Clinton (Bubba) Fair Sr.

Apr 25, 1953 — Jun 20, 2026

Glennville, GA

Clinton Fair, Sr. was born on April 25, 1953, to the late York and Aretha Fair. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

He was educated in the Tattnall County public school system and graduated from Glennville High School in 1971. At an early age, he joined Greater Zachariah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend T. J. Lynch.

A hardworking and dedicated man, Clinton was employed by E. T. Tatum Brothers until his retirement. He was known for his strong work ethic, humility, and willingness to help others. He was especially skillful at building and fixing things, a talent that reflected both his creativity and determination.

Outside of work, Clinton enjoyed playing horseshoes, shooting pool, and watching wrestling. He was also a fan of western movies and television shows. His quiet wisdom, steady spirit, and easygoing nature made him a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, York and Aretha Fair; his brothers, George and Jerry Fair; and his sister, Mae Fair.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 45 years, Shirlene Fair; sons, Clinton Fair, Jr. and Craig Fair of Glennville; daughters, Sheri (Mark) Houle, Courtney Harvey of Glennville, and Stephanie Crowel of Macon; brothers, Tim (Peggy) Fair, Hubert Fair, Ulysees Fair of Glennville, and Kim (Carolyn) Fair of Atlanta; sisters, Annette Alston of New York, Mary Young of Jacksonville, Eunice Eason, Sue Johnson, and Angela Fair of Glennville; 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
