Clinton Cornell Joyce

His family and friends affectionately addressed him as Cornell and others

affectionately referred to him as "Snow".

Cornell Joyce was born August 18, 1953 to Joe Dock and Rosa Lee Joyce.

He was one of seven children; Benjamin Barney (deceased), John Joseph Joyce

(deceased), James Edward Joyce (deceased), Cynthia Joyce Balcolm

(deceased), Celest Bradley, and Mitchell Joyce.

Cornell left Hazlehurst upon graduating from high school and relocated to

Atlanta, GA. He worked in the field of construction with his Uncle Robert

Henry and was later employed by Nabisco until he retired with 30 years of

service. He was later employed by Krispy Kreme for several years.

He lived in the metro Atlanta area and in his days of retirement he planted

community gardens and distributed vegetables to the residents who lived

near him, family and friends.

His presence will surely be missed by his family (nieces, nephews) and

friends.
