Dale was born February 2, 1950, in Jesup Ga, to the late Claude and Nancy T. Way. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Annie Tootle and Charles Way and Leola Ashford. 2 grandchildren, Micheal Lorenzo Jackson and Alexander Demetrius Shields. 3 brothers, Jackie, Clayton, and Charlie Way. Dale attended the public schools in Tattnall County.

Dale was employed at The City of Reidsville as a Sanitation Worker. Dale loved spending his pass time watching his beloved Las Angelas Lakers and the Philadelphia Eagles. He leaves to cherish his memories: 4 daughters, Theresa Shields-Jacksonville Fla, Marqueta Lawson, Fort Lauderdale Fla. Andromeda Lawson, Statesboro Ga. Marissa Robinson, Glennville Ga. 2 Sons, Jwan A Hines, Claxton Ga. Corey Phillips (Conisesher), Tampa Fla. 2 sisters, Beverly Doe and Marcella Mincey, Glennville Ga. 29 grandchildren 19 Great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
