Dantrel RaShawn Dunson, 25, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 from a four wheeler accident. He was born November 13, 1987 at Tattnall Memorial Hospital in Reidsville, Georgia.
He was educated in the Tattnall County School System. At an early age he united with the First African Missionary Baptist Church in Glennville, Georgia under the leadership of the emeritus pastor Rev. Martin Bacon.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Destiny Guest; Grandfathers Von Dunson, Jr and Western Grant; two uncles Dennis Williams and Ricky Grant; one aunt Betty Ann Grant.
He is survived by his mother, Karen Dunson of Glennville; father, Danny (Maggie) Lovett of Baxley; three daughters: Kamira, Destyn, and Dasani all of Glennville; a very special devoted friend: Fulena Guest of Glennville. Six sisters: Shanica Dunson, ShaQueen Butler, Deanna Stokes all of Glennville; Donna Epps of Savannah; Dianna McKenzie, Mallory McKenzie all of Baxley. Three brothers: Daniel (Diannah) McKenzie of Baxley; Terrandal Williams and Hakeem Lovett all of Glennville, always will be brother-in-law Derek Smith. Maternal grandmother: Clara Mae Dunson and Paternal grandmother: Louise Grant all of Glennville. Aunts: Linda (Levi) Richardson of Ludowici; Georgia Mae Levant, Angeline (Issac) Summerset, Annette Harvey, Rebecca (George) Hill, Patricia Grant, Earnestine (Erik) Bartley, Deborah (Norman) Tootle, and Shirley Ann Grant all of Glennville; Tracey (Matthew) Joyce of Reidsville, and Janie (Cecil) Walthour of Allenhurst. Uncles: Willie (Renee) Williams, Wayne, Homer Lee, Harvey Lee and Herbert Grant all of Glennville. A host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00p.m. Friday, August 30, 2013 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at First African Missionary Baptist Church in Glennville, Georgia on Saturday, August 31 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Clarence E. Boles, Jr. officiating.
Burial in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Glennville, Ga.
