Darryl Craig McKinnon was born on October 21, 1962 in Frankfurt Germany to his proud parents, the late Alvin Dean McKinnon and Dr. Rev. Eva Pearl Brown McKinnon Jordan. Darryl received his education in the Tattnall County School System. Darryl loved to fish, hunt, work on automobiles and enjoyed his time with family and friends.
Darryl Craig departed this life on June 13, 2022, after a short illness at the Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Rev. Abie and Vernease McKinnon and maternal grandparents Rev. Henry and Annie Brown. Darryl leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memories, his brother E. Dean (Lavonia) McKinnon, Jacksonville, FL, one niece Ashley C. Walker, Jacksonville, FL; three nephews, Justin R. (Sheneka) McMillian, Jacksonville, FL, Edwin D. (Kacee) McKinnon, II, Naval Station Activity, Naples, Italy, and Cameron K. M. R. McKinnon, Jacksonville, FL. He leaves to share in his memories 11 great nieces and nephews; Jaylen, Jada, Tito, Justayshia, Justin, Jr., Edwin Dean McKinnon, III, Kamryn, Londyn, Camari, Camiya and Vera.
Darryl has two aunts and two uncles that will share in his loss; Betty B. (James) Davis, Statesboro, GA. Minister Alfreda (Julian) Hagan, Glennville, GA, Deacon Gene A. (Marian) McKinnon, Claxton, GA, and Deacon Gene (Earlene) Oglesbee, Glennville, GA.
