Demery Lamar Mayner

December 9, 1963 — February 3, 2024

Demery L. Mayner Sr was born on December 9, 1963, to Nathaniel and Irene Mayner of Claxton, Ga. He answered the final call on February 3, 2024, at the age of 60. He joined Mount Zion Missionary Church at an early age and was educated in the Evans County School system. Upon completion of his education, Demery enlisted in the United States Army on September 2, 1981, and was honorably discharged on August 29, 1984. After completing his term in the army, he then pursued a career in commercial truck driving allowing him to enjoy the open road for 28 years. If you knew anything about Demery, you knew he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Although he loved his cowboys, he possessed an undeniable and unwavering love for all his family. Demery leaves his fondest memories to be cherished by his parents Nathaniel and Irene Mayner; his children Cedric Mayner, Tray Mckever (Katilia), Symone Taylor, Rakim Mayner, Tymorion Mckever, Bryant Mayner, Demery Mayner Jr. (Rachel), Marshon White (Latrell), Tristan Levy; Ten grandchildren; siblings Lynn and James Mayner; three aunts Idonia Butler (James), JoAnn Bell, Diane Mobley; two uncles Tony Mobley, Joseph Harris; five nephews Nick (Cynthia), Travis, Chace, Chance, Kajock; niece Danielle, and a host of extended family and friends.
