Denise Dixon

Denise Pearsey, born on April 29, 1964, in Jesup, GA, to the late, Mr. Wilma Pearsey of Jesup, GA and Cora Bell Robinson of Hazlehurst, GA. Denise attended school in Jesup, GA up until her 10th grade year, she then moved to start school in Hazlehurst, GA, where later, her hand was later taken in marriage by Kenneth Dixon of Hazlehurst, GA on December 28, 2001 and she then became known as Denise Dixon. On Saturday, August 8, 2020, she received a call that her work was completed on this earth and she transitioned to her new life. Preceding her in death were her parents Wilma Pearsey and Cora Bell Robinson; siblings: Larry Roberts, Eddie "Peanut" (Carol) Roberts, Ulysses Pearsey, Beatrice Lee, Rozell Gilmore, Jimmy Lee Pearsey, Walter Pearsey, her twin Brother Dennis Pearsey and her very own son Reginald Mitchell. She was known for her singing voice, prayers and her willingness to help others. Denise enjoyed singing, fishing, spending time with her husband, kids, grandkids and friends. Denise will truly be missed by her friends and family. Denise was an active member of Bennett Tabernacle. Denise leaves her husband Kenneth Dixon, to cherish her memories as well as her children: Candace Hardy, Ashford Pearsey, Dennis Mitchell, Christopher Mitchell, Justin Bryant and Jason Bryant; grand kids: Jasmine Pearsey, Shawn Pearsey, Zion Pearsey, Zayden Pearsey, Briana Mitchell, Jocalyne Mitchell, Jeremiah Mitchell, Cortez Mitchell, Carter Mitchell, Conner Mitchell, Kylere Bryant, Abigail Bryant, Adora Bryant, Isabella Nakama, E'Lissa Bryant, Sarina Bryant, J'Kari Bryant and J'Tari; a great granddaughter Brazhyl Johnson; her siblings: Corine Howard, Wilma Jean Robinson, Carline Copeland, James Daniels, Verdine Robinson, Isaac (Carolyn) Bryant, Clifford Bryant; a special nephew Samuel Gibson and last but not least a host of family and friends.
