De'Shaun Deandrea' Davis affectionately known as "Dae Dae", departed this life on September 26, 2021 at East Georgia Regional Medical in Statesboro, Georgia. He was born September 26, 1993 to Monica Smith and Drexel Berry. De'Shaun was educated in the public school system of Tattnall County, GA, graduating in 2012 from Tattnall County High School. In his youth, De'Shaun developed a love for sports and played football, baseball, and basketball within the Tattnall County School System. After graduating, he secured employment with a myriad of companies in managerial positions, and he enjoyed providing security for various events and venues in the surrounding areas. He excelled in his latest employment as a truck driver with the Howard Lumber Company in Statesboro, Georgia. He loved music, dancing, and had an affinity for rapping. He was the class clown and loved to be the center of attention and brought joy to everyone he met. He loved his Mom and was affectionately referred to as a "Momma's boy". De'Shaun joined Abundant Life Apostolic Church of the Living God, Inc. at an early age and was baptized by his pastor, Apostle Randy King, PhD. He was so proud to become a father to his son, Ace Kooper Davis on May 16, 2019. De'Shaun was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother, Mary Ann Davis; Grandparents Rayfield and Theresa Grant; Uncle, Byron Davis. Four great aunts; Four great uncles; One Great Great Uncle. He leaves to cherish and honor his many memories:his son, Ace Kooper Davis. His beloved Mother Monica (Terry) Smith and Father Drexel (Kay) Berry. Grandmother, Shirley and Grandfather (Ruben) King, Jr.; Grandfather, Randy Smith; Great Grandfather, Jerry Calhoun; Great Grandmother, Novella King; A Special Grandma, Patsy Lovett; Sisters, Debria Smith, De'Janae Smith, a Special Sister, Zykerriah Davis, Mahogany (Quadric) Wallace. Brothers; Terry Smith, Jr., Drexzavier Berry, D'ondre Berry, Uncles; Christopher Davis, LaDarius Phillips, Robert King, Christopher Hardee, Jonathan Grant, Derrick Grant, Ted Grant, Rainell Grant, Bryant Grant, Delwin Berry. Aunts; Christina Davis, Crystal Davis, Tawanna Williams, Shawana Moore. Twelve Great Aunts, Twelve Great Uncles, Four Great Great Aunts. De'Shaun will also be missed by a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. Also, honoring his memory are: a Special Second Dad, Fulton Smith, Jr.; a Special Second Mom, Amy Kicklighter; a Special Brother, Chaz Kicklighter; a Special friend, Marissa Valentine.
