Dorethia Moore

A Time To Be Born Dorethia Butler Moore was born on Wednesday, May 3, 1939 in Reidsville, Georgia. She was born to the late Albert Butler and Beitha Butler Ward. A Time to Live Dorethia was educated in the Tattnall County school system and graduated from Tattnall County Industrial High School. She moved to Florida where she gained employment at South Florida State Hospital. She worked there for twenty years as an associate where she retired. She loved spending time knitting, crocheting and cooking. She took great joy in knitting for her family and friends. A Time To Cherish Dorethia will forever remain in the hearts of her two surviving children, Ricky D. Butler of Atlanta Georgia and William R. Moore Jr. of Miami, Florida, her extended surviving children, Patrick Graham of Miami, Florida, John Moore (Judy) of Miramar, Florida, Luke Alphonse (Starlette) of Covington, Georgia, Yancey Barron (Eboni) of Miami, Florida, Michael Lawrence (Angela) of St. Petersburg, Florida; her devoted grandchildren, Eboni Butler of Boston Massachusetts, Jillian A. Moore of Miramar Florida, Jasmine D. Moore of McDonough, Georgia, and William R. Moore III of Stockbridge, Georgia; her two sisters, Alethia C. Blunt of McDonough, Georgia, Rossie M. Smith of Reidsville, Georgia; her two brothers, Tommy L. Butler of Reidsville, Georgia and Randy Butler of Decatur, Georgia and a host of many nieces and nephews. A Time To Die On Friday, April 29, 2022, Dorethia passed into eternal rest.
