Elder Mable Fedrick Myles was born December 15, 1945 in Denton, GA to the late Pearlie Mae Watkins and Bennie Fedrick. She was raised by her beloved grandparents, Turner Lee and Gussie Mae Watkins (both preceded her in death). She is the eldest of seven siblings: Willie (deceased), Doris, Mae Thelma, Linda, Shadie, and Letitia.
'MayBell,' as she was affectionately known, did not shy away from hard work. She served the Jeff Davis County community in many roles across Hazlehurst Mills, Alco Controls, and Wal-Mart for several decades.
Mable's greatest love was her devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She began her walk with Christ as a young girl at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was ordained as a minister at Bennett Tabernacle and served faithfully for nearly 30 years. In her latter years, she co-Pastored Standing on the Solid Rock Holiness Church of Uvalda, GA, and also served over the youth ministry until the Lord called her home. She always had a word of encouragement or a prayer to lift up anyone who needed it.
Mable was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Deacon Arthur L. Myles, Sr.
She leaves to cherish and carry on her memory her loving daughter Janice, her only son Arthur L. Myles, Jr. (Tiffanie), 7 grandchildren - Jasmin, Jayla, Artiyah, Tahlia, Israel, Rowan, and Jayce; and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends.
