Elder Ophelia Thomas

View Video Elder Ophelia Thomas, 79, of Hazlehurst, Ga. passed away, Monday April 20, 2009 at the Community Hospice Center in Vidalia, Ga. after an extended illness. She is a member of Praise Tabernacle in Graham, Ga. where she serve as the mother of the church and she was a former member of Bennett Tabernacle in Hazlehurst, Ga. She is survived by two sons Bishop George Maxwell (Daisy) Thomas and Reno (Carrie Lee) Thomas both of Hazlehurst, Ga. Six grandchildren, host of great grand children, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 24, 2009 at 1:00pm at Bennett Tabernacle in Hazlehurst, Ga. with burial in the Hazlehurst Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 1:00 - 6:00pm . No wake service. King Brother's Funeral Home of Hazlehurst is in charge of arrangements. www.kingbrothersfh.com
