Ella M. Carswell

Mrs. Ella M. Carswell, 79, of Reidsville, Ga. passed away Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Doctor's Hospital in Reidsville, Ga. She is a member of St. Phillips Baptist Church in Reidsville,Ga. Her parents are the late Jake B. Eason, Sr. and the late Adel Eason. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Artis Carswell, Sr. who preceded her in death. She is survived by four loving children: Mrs. Annie Ruth (Collis) Costen of Collins, Ga., Rev. Artis (Janice) Carswell, Jr. and Van Louis Carswell both of Reidsville, Ga., and Mrs. Gracie Mae (Harry) Williams of Campton, Fla., six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Two sisters: Mrs. Bessie Forest (Moses) of St. Augustine, Fla. and Mrs. Helen Donaldson (Donald) of Miami, Fla, five brothers: Don and Jack Eason both of Miami, Fla., Robert Lee Eason of North Carolina, Jerry and Jake Eason and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 11:00 am St. Phillips Baptist Church in Reidsville, Ga. with burial in the Sandhill Cemetery. No wake services and the body will be placed in the church from 9:00 until the hour of service, for public viewing. No viewing after the euogoly.
