Eugene Harvey Jr.

Eugene Harvey, Jr, a resident of Glennville, GA

passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025

in Vidalia, GA. He was under the care of Pruitt

Hospice of Swainsboro, GA. Eugene was born

in Tattnall County to the late Eugene Sr, and

Vernice Harvey of Glennville, GA on April 23,

1945.

Eugene enjoyed life as an automobile mechanic

being very good at his craft. Eugene, like

many of his peers, was an avid fisherman who

enjoyed fishing for sport and happened to

be an awesome cook. Also, when he was not

found fishing in a river or pond, Eugene would

spend many weekends on his motorcycle as a

means for peace and leisure. He also loved to

play the guitar and had his own singing group

he created.

Eugene had four siblings who proceeded him

in death: Harry Lee Harvey, Elizabeth "Liz"

Harvey, Herman Harvey, and Wallace Harvey.
