It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Felix Gardner, a beloved family member, friend, and community member. Felix touched the lives of so many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. His spirit was infectious, always bringing a sense of joy and comfort to everyone he encountered.
Felix had an exceptional ability to listen and offer advice, whether it was to friends struggling through challenging times or to family members celebrating their successes. He gave without hesitation, always putting others before himself. His laughter could light up any room, and his presence was a source of comfort and peace.
Felix Gardner was born in Tampa, Florida, by the parents of Clark & Deborah Gardner. He graduated from Tattnall High School in Tattnall County. He left Glennville and attended Earle Clements Job Corporation Louisville, Kentucky. He became Sgt. At Arms. As attending the job corporation, he joined the Gospel Fellowship Church, he played drums there, and he was part of a choir called the "Wisemen," One of Felix greatest accomplishment was as travelling with the Wisemen group Felix was instrumental in winning five thousand souls for Christ.
After graduating from the job core Felix moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. Where he married Denise and worked at Indianapolis Airport for a number of years. Felix loved listening to audio books and avid lover of Black History. He adored Gone with wind and the Tampa Bay Bucks as some classics. In his later years, Felix developed a love for travelling and that love took him to Haiti, Bahamas, and Jamaica.
` Felix last job of employment was with Sunstate Securities from November 2023-February 19,2025. He worked in partnership with them at Tanger Mall in Pooler, GA, and later transferred to the City of Savannah, with Sunstate Securities. Mr. Daniel Florin was his supervisor, and he became an Angel in disguise with all his help in making Funeral arrangements. He has never met me, but our spirits connected immediately over the phone. The bible says in Hebrew 13:2 "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertain angels without knowing it."
Felix Gardner survived by a mother who thanks the Lord Jesus Christ who gave us personal time together at the end of his existence. Felix also leaves in celebrating life: Deborah A. Gardner (Brother) Glennville, GA; Demetrius Gardner (Brother) Tampa, FL; Denise Gardner (Ex-wife) Orlando, FL; Sheree Gibson (Aunt /Clark Gardner only sister) Glennville, GA; Vernie Lee Hill (Aunt) Jacksonville, FL; Julie Gardner (Sister) Riverhead, NY; Channell Gardner (Sister) Riverhead, NY; Larry Hill (Uncle) Reidsville, GA; Frederick Hill (Uncle) Orlando, FL; Eric Pope (Uncle) Atlanta, GA; In the demise of his life he still has a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and some special friends.
