Felles Grant

Felles Grant Sr. was born on September 10, 1938 in Sylvania, Georgia to the late Willie and Fannie Grant. He peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Glenvue Rehabilitation In Glennville, Georgia.

On November 24, 1962, he was united in holy matrimony to Ruby Dell Radford. Together, they shared a loving and devoted marriage for 62 years.

Felles began his Christian journey at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in  Daisy, Georgia under the leadership of Rev. Dr. C.L. Anderson. He faithfully served for many years on the Usher board and was a dedicated member of the deacon board and Male Choir until his health no longer allowed him to serve.

He was a hardworking and dependable m an who dedicated over 30 years of service to Duramatic Product Co., under the umbrella of Rotary Corporation. Through his commitment and leadership, he rose to the position of Night Supervision, where he worked diligently until his retirement in 2014.

Outside of work, Felles found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, hunting, and playing the guitar---hobbies that brought him peace and allowed him to share memorable moments with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, fourteen siblings,  and his daughter, Melinda Mae Grant.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 62 years, Ruby Dell Radford Grant; two sons, Felles Grant Jr. of Metter, Georgia and Willie Grant of Wallington, New Jersey; one daughter, Stella Stewart (Clarence Stewart) of Glennville, Georgia; a former daughter in law, Angela Grant, who remained a cherished part of the family; four bonus children; Kashaye Harrison, Paris (Africa) Harrison of Reidsville, Georgia, Melvilonn Davis of Columbia, South Carolina and a goddaughter, Meghan Woodruff of Atlanta, Georgia; five grandchildren, Desiree Grant, Felles M. Grant, Sierra Stewart and Jairus Stewart all of Glennville, Georgia and Haley Hobbs of Jacksonville, Georgia; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
