Mrs. Francine Denise Hopkins, daughter of the late Linda Bell and Matthew Bacon, was born June 6, 1970. She was born in Reidsville, Georgia but grew up in Glennville, Georgia. She graduated from Long County High School in Ludowici, Georgia. Later in life she moved to Reidsville, Georgia where she met the love of her life, Stoney Hopkins. They dated for a few years before being married at the Courthouse in Reidsville, Georgia. On December 8, 1993, Francine and Stoney welcomed a baby girl. Christina Marie Hopkins at Savannah Memorial Hospital. That is when her smile got bigger.
If you ever had the chance cross path with her, she would greet with you with the biggest smile and laugh in the world. She was genuinely an intelligent, loving, and compassionate young lady. Francine loved God and loved spreading encouraging words to any one she met. She was an amazing wife, mother, and friend. Francine Denise Hopkins will truly be miss.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory one beloved daughter, Christina Marie Buckner (son in law, William Buckner who proceeded her in death), stepfather, Gary Bell of Glennville, GA, two brothers, Ron Bacon of Midway, GA and Delwin Bell of Pooler, GA, and number of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial funeral service will be conducted 2:00pm on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the Reidsville Church of God with Reverend William Prince officiating.
