Gerrick was born on June 9, 1998 in Statesboro, GA to Alvin and Lois Scott. He was a graduate of Tattnall County High School class of 2018

Gerrick was known for his smile that would light up any room. He loved to smile, listen to music, and hear people sing to him. Gerrick was a member of Greater Zachariah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. C.L. Anderson and his deacon, L. H. Bacon. One of his favorite things to do was watching TV. Bubba's favorite show was SpongeBob SquarePants.
Gerrick was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Albert and Eunice Scott of Ludowici, GA, maternal grandparents; Isaac and Henrietta Sharpe of Glennville, GA, Special Aunt/Caregiver; Jerroline Harris.
