Henry Thomas Staples, Jr. was born in Columbus, Mississippi on November
17, 1958 to Henry T. Staples, Sr. and Fannie M. Brown. He attended schools
in Youngstown, Ohio graduating from Rayen High School in 1976.
During his life Henry was in the United States Army and employed at
Duramatic Corp., GA State Prison and Ithaca Corp until he retired as a
veteran.
Henry enjoyed cooking, grilling, traveling, all sports and was faithfully
attended church until his health failed.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Fannie M. Tate Brown, his
grandmother, Lula Mae Tate Brown, his grandfather, William Brown, his
uncle, William Brown, Jr. and aunt, Ella Mae Brown.
Henry leaves to cherish his memory his children: Tellas Kennedy, Dedrick
Berry, Sandra Hall, Johnny Hall, Perez Staples, Kimberly Hall, Jessica Hall
and Desmond Staples, Sr.; siblings: Beverlyn Staples, Tony Staples, Kenneth
Staples (Jeanette), Min. Collin Staples (Debbie) all of Columbus, OH and
Zerrick Staples (Lisa) of Akron, OH; special aunties: Julia Billups and Bernice
Brown both of Youngstown, OH who helped raise him; wife: Ruby Berry
(Staples); grandchildren: Kadesia Jenkins (Tommy), Kiandra Robinson,
Yasmin Robinson, Nevaeh Hall, Mikell Adderson, Kason Ward, Peyton Hall,
Jayce Hall, Kinsley Hall, Tristan Hall, Kimora Hall, Kamile Bruner, Destiny
Veal, Desmond Staples, Jr. Janiya Carter, Reketta Burns, Ziziah Bostic,
Alay'Jah Nelson, Kyla Nelson, Kayla Nelson and Justin McMillian and a host
of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
