Herbert "Dennis" Murphy

Herbert Dennis Murphy was born June 14th 1954 to the late Ivey and Emma Lee Murphy in Glennville,Ga. He was educated at Glennville High School and graduated in 1974. He then went to New Jersey to work at Del Monte before joining the Army in 1977. Dennis later returned to Glennville after a honorable discharge from the Army, he then began his career at Rotary on May 15, 1987 where he worked for 34 years.

Dennis is proceeded in death by his parents Ivey and Emma Lee Murphy, his daughter Brittney Murphy, brother Ivey Murphy and sister Sylvia Belfield.

Dennis leave his cherish memories with his children Timothy Forrest of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kevin Murphy of Lumberton, North Carolina, Kenetra Murphy of Glennville, Ga, Brianna Murphy of Glennville,Ga. A lifelong partner of many years Vanessa Johnson of Glennville,Ga. One sister Emily Murphy, one brother Kenneth Murphy Sr (Magnolia) all of Glennville, Ga. Johnny Murphy (Hattie) of Glennville, Ga ,Judy Jones of Pennsylvania, Lizzy Lewis of Ludowici, Ga. 12 grandkids and one great grand. A host of nieces and nephews. One special friend Mr. Kelvin McNeal.
