Horace Ferdinand Hinds was born to Granville and Gladys Hinds on July 1,
1938 in Charles Town St Mary Jamaica W. I. He was the fifth of nine children.
Horace was raised in the district of Rock Cottage, Charles Town where he
received his primary education. He migrated to the United States of America
in 1961 as a concrete Mason worker.
Horace leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife: Dessine Lovette Hinds;
five sons: Rudolph (Patricia) Hinds, Clifton Hinds, Winson Hinds, Jefter
Hines and Charles Bacon (Mildred); three daughters: Dianne Jinks, Rose
Colton (Mark) and Cynthia Smith (Fulton); 42 grandchildren; a host of great
grandchildren; one brother: Neville (Rita) Hinds; two sisters: Cynthia Small
and Marjorie (Henry); one special granddaughter: Carol King; two sisters-inlaw: Pastor Gertie Grant (Bishop Wallace Grant) and Ida Grimes (Oscar) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
