Hubert Doe was born to Robert and Alverta Doe on July 20, 1942, in Screven County, Georgia. He peacefully departed this life on July 20, 2026.
Later in life, Hubert made his home in Glennville, Georgia, where he was well known throughout the community. He worked for many years as a dedicated logger and mechanic with the Tatums. Affectionately known to many as "Short" and "Oil Can". Hubert was respected for his hard work, kind spirit and friendly personality. He faithfully attended Holy Temple Pentecostal Church where he worshipped under the leadership of Apostle Dexter Edwards, until his health began to fail.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his daughters, Mary (George), Kassie, Samantha (Anthony), Teresa (Darius), and Jalisa; his sons, Curtis, Hubert, Tony (Janice), Rico and Huey. His brothers, David (Carolyn), Johnnie Lee, Raymond, Charles, Ronnie and Bernard; his sisters, Idella, Lillie, Rose, Irene and Louise (Charlie); his sister-in-law, Emma Lewis and Overseer Norma Walker, a special grandson, Victor Doe; and a special daughter, Dytania "Dee" Hall; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
