Irvine W. Middletown

Mrs. Irvine W. Middleton, 66, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the Coastal Manor Nursing Home Ludowici, Ga. She accepted Christ at an early age. She joined the Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J.E. Clark where she was a faithful member. She worked on the Usher Board. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Charles W. Middleton. To this union one child was born. She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her son Patrick (Becky) Middleton; six grandchildren Stephaine, Shanna, Angie, Deroyce, Shimeka, and Chasity; three sisters Odessa Mathes and Doris (Elder) Roberson of Glennville, Ga. Birdie Fred (John) Harris of Washington, D.C.; one brother Bobby Wrights of Jacksonville, Fla.; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and a very special friend Shirley Holmes. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church in Ludowici, Georgia with burial in the church cemetery. No wake services - Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 11-7. King and Son's Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
