Ivey Antonio Murphy, age 54, passed away 11:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020 at St. Joseph/Candler Hospital.
He was born June 19, 1966 to the late Ivey H. Murphy and late Cleo Lewis Murphy. He graduated from Glennville High School in 1985 and received Associate Degree from Belford University in Business and Human Relations. He was baptized at an early age at Greater Zachariah Missionary Baptist Church.
He committed his life to serving God, his family and friends but gave unrelentless love and dedication to Sharon, Jamie and mother.
He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved God's son John Moore of Glennville, GA. Three sisters, Sharon Moore of Glennville, GA; Janet Moore of Mendes, Ga; Darnie (Perry) Hampton of Hinesville, GA. Four brothers, Stephen (Rhonda) Moore, Jamie Murphy, Michael Moore of Glennville, GA., John L. Moore of New Orleans, LA. Sister-in-Law; Sandra F. Moore of Reidsville, GA., Two Aunts, Jettie Pearl Deloach and Connie (Jessie) Rhodes of Glennville, GA. Devoted and loving nephew and nieces, Channing (Mariel) Hampton M.D. of Tifton, GA, Chesley Hampton of Port Wentworth, GA, Chasity Hampton of Fairburn, GA, and Charliste Hampton of Hinesville, GA; Three precious grandchildren, Jaysean Moore, Ja'kayla Moore and Jayden Moore of Lyons, GA. He also leaves to a host of cherish nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
A viewing will be held at 4:00-6:00 on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Kings & Sons Funeral Home in Glennville, GA. A Home-going Service will be held on the outside at 9:00 on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 506 Boyd Street and the Committal Service will be at 11:00 a.m. at Glennville Memorial Gardens, with the Dr. Charles Anderson officiating
