James Davis

Mr. James Davis 64, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the Glenvue Nursing Home where he was a resident for a number of years. He was born in Evans County on April 16, 1944 to the Late Henry and Ruthie Mae Davis of Glennville. He leaves to cherish his memories: Three sisters Mrs. Marion (Robert) Collins and Mrs. Bonnie Berry both of Glennville, Ga. and Mrs. Shirley (Ernest) Harvell of Jacksonville, Fla. Five brothers: Jimmy (Linda) Davis, E.C. (Geraldine) Davis, Jerome (Misty) Davis and J. D. Davis all of Glennville, Ga. and Perry (Liz) Davis of Metter, Ga. One uncle Mr. Eugene (Chaney) Slaughter of Savannah, Ga. and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, August 22, 2008 at King and Son's Funeral Home Chapel from 7:00pm - 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 3:00pm at the Center of LIfe Church of God in Glennville, Ga. Burial will follow in the Robert Chapel Cemetery in Tyson, Ga.
