Janice Carolyn Guyton was born to the late James Henry Smith and Narva Dean Smith in Blackshear, GA on September 18, 1960. She is predeceased by two brothers; Jimmie Lee Smith and Andrew Smith.
She graduated from Glennville High School in 1978. She received her Bachelor's degree from Armstrong Atlantic University in 2013. She was a phlebotomist and worked 5 years at Winn Army Hospital and 14 years at Liberty Memorial.
Carolyn had a smile and a laugh that was infectious. She is known for the love she had for her family and her pride in her children.
Carolyn will be deeply missed by two loving and devoted sons; Terrence R. (Heather) Guyton of Fayetteville, GA and Gary D. (Monifa) Guyton, Jr. of Mableton, GA, grandchildren; Xavier Guyton, Solomon Guyton, Grayson Guyton, Mason Guyton, and Mercy Guyton, four siblings; Ronald Smith of Claxton, GA, Willie Smith and Artis Smith of Glennville, GA, and Ava Cox of Ludowici, GA, three god-sisters; Jennifer, Lavonia and Lynn Hardee all of Glennville, GA, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
