Jaquay Raekwon Smith

Jaquay Raekwon Smith, 20, of Augusta, Georgia passed away on February 6, 2022 in Decatur, Georgia. Jaquay was born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, Hinesville, GA. to Amanda Smith and Brad Davis, Sr. on September 11, 2001. Jaquay is a native of Glennville, Georgia. He attended Jamestown Elementary School in Hephzibah, GA., Sego Middle School, and Augusta Technical College (high school). He enjoyed attending the Boys and Girls Club after school. He also had an interest in investing in the stock market and loved the sport of boxing. JaQuay is survived by his parents: Amanda Smith, Brad (Bridgett) Davis, Sr., sisters: Jacqueline Grant (23), Aijhia Smith (22), Keoshia McNair (24), and Aliannah Van(7); brothers: Brad Davis Jr. (26), Bradavious Alexander (22), Kemon Byrd (19), and Raphael Washington Jr. (17). JaQuay leaves behind his beloved family to cherish his memories by his aunts: Tanya V. Smith, Demetria Smith, Michelle Collins, Reiko (Michael) Roberson, and Osjha Doe; uncles: Alton Smith, Demetrius (Myeshia) Smith. grandparents: Teresa Porter, Beverly Doe, and Jerome (Misty) Davis, extended parents: Norman and Mercedes Hill. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members and friends. Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me.
