Jerry Roberson

Mr. Jerry Roberson, 57 of Reidsville, Ga. passed away at the Community Hospice of Vidalia, Ga. He is a native of Tattnall County and a 1973 graduate of Glennville High School. He was a member of the First African Baptist Church in Glennville, Ga. and a retired Civil Service Mechanic at Ft. Stewart, Ga. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Daphine Roberson of Reidsville, Ga. One daughter Tammy Roberson of Glennville, Ga., one step-son Stephen Winn of Las Cruces, NM., one step-daughter Meesha Chavers of Reidsville, Ga., one grandson Marcus Mincey, Jr. of Glennville, Ga., six step-grandchildren. His mother Roberta Forrest of Reidsville, Ga., three sisters: Verlinda Moore and Nina Bell Forrest both of Reidsville, Ga., Margaret Marie Moore of Atlanta, Ga. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:00am at the First African Baptist Church in Glennville, Ga. with burial in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Ga. No wake service and visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the chapel of King and Son's Funeral Home from 12:00 - 6:00pm. King and Son's Funeral Home of Glennville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
