Jerry Robinson Williams

Jerry "Chief" Williams was born on May 2,1959, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Eddie George Williams and Altamese Robinson. He transitioned on March 9, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA. Jerry attended Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served 21 years and retired as Chief Warrant Officer. Jerry married Gloria Boyd in 1986.To this union four children were born. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his loving wife Gloria Williams; four children: Shawntrell Williams of Hinesville, GA, Jamar Williams, Jerrica Williams, and BreAuna Williams all of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren: JaVion Williams, Jorden Williams and LeGend Lovett; two brothers: Sidney Sid Jones of Jacksonville, FL and Bruce Dawson of Charleston, SC; five sisters: Gail Saddique, JoAnn Burns of Jacksonville, FL, Sandra Williams of Detroit MI, and Brenda Broomfield (Allen) of Palm Bay, FL,; one sister in law: Cynthia Boyd of Savannah, GA; two brother in laws: James Jackson of Savannah, GA and Grover Boyd of Elizabeth, NJ; and a host of loving aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.
