Jessie Mae Hill Eason

Mother Jessie Mae Hill Eason was born November 2, 1950 in Tattnall County, Georgia to Noah and Irene Hill, Sr. She was educated in the public-school system of Tattnall County, GA. She was employed as a food service worker for over 20 years. At a young age Jessie Mae joined New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Glennville, Ga. However, she later joined the Holy Temple Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Overseer Dexter Edwards. Jessie Mae was preceded in death by her parents Noah and Irene Hill, Sr., her husband of 15 years Mr. Terry Eason, one sister, Ms. Betty Hill and one brother Mr. Michael Hill. Jessie Mae was a very shy and quiet person of few words but, whenever you encountered her she always has that sweet and warm smile to greet you. She leaves to cherish her many memories her children-Mrs. Samantha (Anthony) Overton, Mrs. Mary(George) Johnson, Ms. Kassie Lakes, Ms. Teresa Gray all of Glennville, GA. Ms. Brandi Eason of Forest Park, GA, Mr. Tony Hill, Mr. Curtis L. Doe and Mr. Thomas Doe also of Glennville, GA. Two sisters-Ms. Rose Isaacs and Ms. Viola Coleman both of Glennville, GA; five brothers- Mr. Noah (Laverne) Hill, Jr., Mr. George Hill, Mr. Marvin (Mechelle) Hill, Mr. Norman (Mercedes) and Mr. Sammy (Gloria) Hill all of Glennville, GA; mother-in law, Ms. Mary Linda Eason, Glennville, GA; four sisters-in-law-Ms. Lorna J. King of Glennville, GA; Ms. Felicia Jones of Phenix City, AL; Ms. Judy Jones of Augusta, GA and Mrs. Sharleta (Mal) of Statesboro, GA; four brothers-in-law-Mr. Theron (Mattie) Eason of Houston, TX; Mr. Bernard (Mary) Eason, Mr. Larry (Linda) Eason of Glennville, GA and Mr. Nicholas Eason of Statesboro, GA; Thirty grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren; one aunt-Lucille Sanders and one uncle-Joe Sanders both of Glennville, GA.; Special friends-Mary Eason, Carol A, Cook, Emma J. Lewis, Janice Monroe and Sylvester Sharpe. She will also be missed by host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
