John Keith Adams

John Keith was a loving, caring husband, father, Papa, brother, uncle, and friend. He kept a smile on his face and always brightened the room with his humor and positive attitude. His recent hobbies included going to his church and spending time with his family.

John Keith Adams was born December 26th, 1948, to the blessed union of Dorothy V. Adams and John Quincy Adams, Sr. in Plant City, FL. He moved to New York as a young child where he spent the majority of his life. John Keith accepted our Lord and savior at an early age when he was baptized at Bethel Baptist in Troy, NY.

John Keith would go on to serve as an usher and sing in the choir. He would receive his education and HS Diploma from Troy City School District. After Graduation, he went to SUNY-Cobleskill in Cobleskill, NY. In his early years, he developed al love for sports that would go on to last a lifetime.

John Keith departed this life on Thursday, October 20th, 2022. He was preceded in death by his Father, John Quincy Adams, and brother, Marvin Adams, and sister, Cynthia Alston.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Cynthia Adams of Enterprise, AL; His children John Stacy Adams (Kim) of Albany, NY; Kenya Adams of Albany, NY; Ajani Adams and Adesina Adams Jerkins of High Point, NC; Keith and Antwyne Adams, of Troy, NY; Jevar Adams of FL; and Kia, Norton, and Cedric of Troy, NY who he loved as his very own. Siblings; Virginia Norwood (Jerry) of Albany ,NY; Zernon (Janice) Adams of Hazlehurst, GA; Vanessa Legrande of Troy, NY; Kathy Adams of Douglas, GA; Charlene (Sam) Cooper of Hazlehurst, GA; Jacqueline (Paul) Banks of Troy, NY; William Adams of Hazlehurst, GA; Lisa Adams of Alamo, GA. grandchildren: Tremay, Aniyah, Hope, Shavariea, John Sabien, Donavyn, Aubrey, Austin, Amiyah, and many other extended grands who had the pleasure to call called him Papa and a gang of nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him deeply.
