Johnny Adrian Cooper

Johnny "Adrian" Cooper also affectionately known as "Scooby", age 63, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina. Born on April 3, 1962 in McRae, Georgia, Adrian lived a life full of warmth, kindness and an unwavering love for his family and friends.

A beloved son, brother, uncle, mentor, and friend, he was known for his bright spirit, compassionate heart and ability to bring joy to those around him. Born with a servant's heart, Adrian worked in the healthcare industry for over 50 years.

With a deep love and dedication to family, Adrian had a healthy hand in raising his nephews Shawn, Latrick and Tommie Cooper and nieces, Deshannon Manigault and Amy Cox.

As a leader and teacher, Adrian coached men's and women's softball for more that 20 years. Adrian touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
