Leceddrick Mitchell

Leceddrick Danielle Mitchell was born in Douglas, Georgia on April 16, 1982, to Ms. Shander Diane Mitchell and Bishop Herbert Gifford, Jr. He passed into eternal rest on Monday, January 1, 2024, at the Jeff Davis Hospital. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elder Herbert Sr. and Hillard Gifford, and Eloise Mitchell his maternal grandmother.

As a young man, Leceddrick was educated in the Telfair County School System as well as the Jeff Davis County School System. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Mitchell leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted mother, Ms. Shander Diane Mitchell of Milan, Georgia; his father, Bishop Herbert Gifford, Jr. of Douglas, Georgia; three children: Travarius (Erikal) Jones of Eastman, Georgia, Trayvon Shaw of Hazlehurst, Georgia, and Kezyia Smith of McRae, Georgia.

Loving siblings: Kawaski (Tonya) Mitchell and Tramikia (Carlos) Fisher both of Hazlehurst, Georgia, Jamil Mitchell of Lumber City, Georgia, Mazita Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia, LaShanda Gifford of Dublin, Georgia, and Tikela Fedrick of Douglas, Georgia. He also leaves to cherish his memory grandchildren: Nova Jones of Eastman, Georgia, Ka'mora LaGrant, Skyler Stegall, and Ivy Stegall of Hazlehurst, Georgia; a loving fiancé, Christie King and her children: LJ, Natanya, Nathaniel, and Zion; and a host of very special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
