View Video Lillian Diane King was born September 16,1966 in East St. Louis, Illinois, She was the daughter of late Moses and Rebecca Holman. Lillian was formally educated in the East St Louis School Districts, in E St Louis, IL. She is a 1984 graduate of Eadt St. Louis Senior High School in Ilinois. She also attended classes at Belleville Area College, Belleville, IL. Lillian left her hometown in Illinois to pursue her dreams in Virginia. Here she was united in Holy Matrimony to Rex King. Two children were born to this union. Her family was one of her greatest joys in life. She was employed with Atlantic Orthopedic Specialist and worked at various medical facilities throughout the years. She was a student at the University of Phoenix pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration. Lillian accepted Christ as her Personal Saviour at an early age and held to her faith until her last day on earth. To most people she was known as Diane, and she found a way to love all she came in contact with. Her witty sense of humor combined with her sweet personality will always be with us. On Tuesday, February 10, 2009, God sent for his angel to come home. She was called to rest in the comfort of her home. Lillian leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Rex King, one son, Xavier RaShad King, one daughter, Diandria Novella King, seven sisters, Annette McIntyre of Belleville, Jeanette Frost of Mesquite, TX, Renee Terrill of Virginia Beach, VA, Mary Stewart of Loraine, OH, Clarissa Brown (Robert) of Cahokia, IL, Inez Bradley (Donald) of Fairview Heights, IL, Katherine Holman of Cahokia, IL; four brothers, Michael Holman of Des Moines, IA, Moses Holman (Annette), of Cahokia, IL, John Holman (Alberdia), of Cahokia, IL and Keith Holman of Cahokia, IL; A very special niece, Mathie (Michael) Earvin, of Jacksonville, Fla. Her father and mother - in -law Mr. And Mrs. Ruben King, Sr. of Glennville, Ga. Three sisters-in-law: Verdie (J.C.) Williams of Reidsville, Ga., Reba (Ishmael) Feliciano of Glennville, Ga., and . Fronita (Marcus) Holston of Elllenwood, Ga. Seven brothers-in-law: Robbie (LeeAnn) King of Hazlehurst, Ga., Dr. Randy (Sharon) King, Ruben (Shirley) King, Jr., Randall (Mary) King, all of Glennville, Georgia. Reginald (Cynthia) King of Lynn Haven, Fla. And Russell (Kelly) King of Statesboro, ga. and a host of neices, nephews, great neices, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday February 14, 2009 at Metropolitan Funeral Service in Norfolk, VA from 2-3 pm. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from 7-8 pm at the Center of Life Church of God in Glennville, Ga. Funeral service will be Thursday February 19, 2009 at First African Missionary Baptist Church in Glennville, GA at 11 am. Interment will be in the Glennville City Cemetery.
