Lillie was born April 23, 1947, to the late Willie (O.C.) Roberson and late Lessie Mae Moore Roberson. On Sunday morning, September 12, 2021, she heard the voice of God and replied, "I am ready to come home!"
Lillie attended the Long County Public School System. She was employed as a seamstress at Glennville Lingerie Corp. in Glennville, GA for many years. After Lingerie closed its doors, she was employed at Ithaca Industries in Glennville, GA until the company closed in 2000.
She joined First African Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. In 1965, Lillie married the love of her life, Robert Lee Boyd. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Willie (O.C.) & Lessie Mae Roberson and siblings, Harry Moore, Minnie Wright, Edna Mae Hines, Roberta Forest, and David Roberson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters: Sharon Williams of Glennville, GA and Valarie Boyd of Ludowici, GA and one son: Anthony Boyd of Glennville, GA.; nine grandchildren: Rickey Williams Jr., Brooke Monroe (Tyree Simmons), Denise Montgomery (Domanek Mincey), Sanquez Boyd, Roderick "Shaunty" Johnson, and Danielle Boyd, Shaqueta Crayton, Shiquisha Monroe, and Tikeya Monroe; thirteen great grandchildren; One brother: Jessie (Cora) Roberson; one sister: Willeen Johnson; devoted niece: Darlene Marshall; special nephew: Jessie "Man" Roberson Jr.; special son: Randy Kennedy; one devoted cousin: Cassandra Moore; four sister-in-laws: Annie Roberson, Angela (Moss) Boyd, Fabby Smiley, and Barbara Boyd; three brother-in-laws: Willie James (Wynda) Boyd, Phillip (Donna) Boyd, and Larry Boyd; one son-in-law: Rickey Williams Sr,; special friend: Mary Cobbs, and an array of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She also adored three special people: Teresa Monroe, Christopher"Moo Moo" Davis, and Tyrone "Tiny T" Davis.
