Louise George

Louise Holt George was born November 2, 1951, to the late Clarence and Annie Bell Holt. She departed this life on Friday, December 16, 2022.

She was educated in the Jeff Davis County School System. She was married to the late Leonard George. She was a member of Alamo Chapel Baptist Church.

She loved working in her church. She retired from Proplex in Hazlehurst, Georgia after 32 years of employment. Louise loved her children and grandchildren very much. She loved to travel, and she enjoyed eating delicious seafood. She also enjoyed watching the daytime stories and old western movies on TV.

She was preceded in death by her spouse; Leonard George, parents; Clarence and Annie Bell Holt, sister; Shirley Holt Kates, and brother; John Holt.

She leaves to cherish fond memories: two daughters, Cathy Vann (Delton Clemons) and Bonita (Joe) Jones; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends, whom she loved dearly.
