Marvin Platt was born November 8, 1954, and made his departure Friday morning February 10, 2023, at Hospice Satilla House in Waycross. He was the son of Alberta Martha King Platt and Frank Platt. Marvin was raised only knowing the love of family and friends.
During life Marvin attended Patterson High School, was the first graduate of the Harrell Learning Center in Waycross and attended Bacon County and Ware County Unison Behavioral Health Center. His favorite time was playing for The Miracle League of the Okefenokee in Waycross.
Marvin was proceeded in death by his mother- Alberta Platt, father- Frank Platt, brothers James Platt, Jimmy Platt, Martin Platt, Lloyd Lee, (Big) Johnny Platt and Oden Lee and niece Flossie Henderson.
He leaves behind his siblings (Little) Johnny Platt (Hattie), Lillie Mae Wilcox (who was raised like a sister). His nieces Lynn, Martha and Latrelle Platt, Chandra Platt Kydd (Matthew). His nephews James Platt Jr, Frank Platt, Johnny Platt Jr. Marvin also has a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces, and nephews.
Marvin has some very Awesome, Amazing, and Special caregivers. Mr. Tobias Wilcox, Mrs. Tammy Thrift, and Mrs. April Robinson.
