Mary A. Smith

Mrs. Mary A. Smith, 77 of Reidsville, Ga. entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 3, 2009 at her resident. She is a native of Tattnall County and a member of St. Phillip Baptist Chuch. She served faithfully as the President of the Usher and Mission Boards, as well as serving as the Intersection Sunday School Class Teacher under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Artis Carswell, Jr. She is survived by her sister Mrs. Adell Lucas (Louis) Spann of Plainfield, N.J. Sister - in - laws: Mary M. Lucas of Manning, South Carolina; Eva Lucas of Plainfield, N.J.; Jacklyn Smith and Mamie Harris both of Reidsville, Ga., Lavern Walker of Jacksonville, Fla.; Brother-in-laws: Raymond, Herbert, Willie, and James Smith all of Reidsville, Ga. a devoted friend Harry Wilson of Uvalda, Ga. ; a favorite nephew Don Spann of Plainfield, N.J. and an host of neices, nephews, relatives and many, many friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 3:00pm at St. Phillip Baptist Church in Reidsville, Ga. with burial in the Sandhill Cemetery in Reidsville, Ga. Visitation is Friday, July 10, 2009 from 12:00 - 6:00 at King and Son's Funeral Home Chapel. No wake services. King and Son's Funeral Home of Glennville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
