Ms. Meagan Alisha Anderson departed this life December 1, 2020, at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, GA after a short illness. She was born, September 18, 1984 to Charles W. and Jo Ann Arthur Anderson.
Meagan was educated in the public-school system of Tattnall County, GA graduating in 2003 from Tattnall County High School. After graduating from high school, she furthered her education at Georgia Perimeter College in Atlanta, GA.
Meagan began her work experiences in Retail with other jobs to follow. But, it was at Onshore Outsourcing that allowed her to demonstrate and express her skills in IT as a Quality Analyst/ System Tester for Little Caesar's Client Services. She was appreciated and recognized by her co-workers. Many bonds of friendship were formed, including Shonetel Maire who was always there when she needed her.
Meagan joined the First African Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. Martin Bacon. She remained a faithful and active member until her death. She developed a strong spiritual belief in God that aided in her life.
Josiah Anderson and Naiema Anderson-Davis were her two adorable children who were the light and joy of her life. She also mothered two precious girls, Asheera Davis and Malia Davis. She loved to inspire and encourage. She loved life and seeing people branch out of their "comfort zone" and be successful was what inspired her. To know Meagan was to love Meagan. Her ready smile and friendly disposition were what sparked and "lit" many friendships. Meagan was the epitome of a true "People's Person." She loved people and was loved by people.
Meagan was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Sam and Louise Anderson and her maternal grandfather, Fletcher Arthur, Sr.
She leaves to cherish and honor her many memories her children, Josiah Anderson, Naiema Anderson-Davis, Asheera and Malia Davis; her parents Charles and Jo Ann Anderson; her siblings, Derrek(Tonja) Anderson, Ashlee(Chris) Harmon and Whitney Lanier; three nephews, ZaDerius Anderson, Noah Harmon and Greysen Lanier; five nieces, Zynasia, ZaRiah, ZaRayna Anderson, Kyndall and Kyrstian Lanier; Maternal Grandmother, Leola Arthur; Twelve aunts, Etrendel Green, Virginia Long, Marilyn Brown, Marlene Anderson and Katrina L. Hagan; Juanita(Donnell) Jinks, Brenda Thomas, Gwen(Tommy) Moore, Lucille Roberson, Pam(Herman) Lovett), Sharry(Rodney) Robbs, Sr. and Alisa Arthur; Two uncles Fletcher(Mary) Arthur, Jr. and Ricky(Linda) Arthur, Sr.; her first "best friend" and special cousin, Shameika Robbs.
Meagan will also be missed by many, many other cousins, other relatives, friends and acquaintances.
