Minister Annette Pough, 52, passed away, Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at The Doctors Hospital in Reidsville, Ga. Minister Pough was born January 14, 1957 in Cincinnati, OH. She was the oldest child of the two children born to Pearlie Inez Ealey-Forrest. Later her brother Mark Forrest was added to the family through the union of Pearlie Inez and William P. Forrest on September 21, 1967. She graduated from Princeton High School in Cincinnati, OH in 1975. After high school she attended the University of Cincinnati and received her associates degree in Social Work and her bachelors degree in Crinimal Justice in 1981. In 1981, Annette was joined in holy matrimonoy to Freddie Pough of Collins, Ga. She moved from Cincinnati, OH to Collins, Ga. and became the mother of five children Crystal Leayasha, Freddie Jr., Karen Lafawn, Darien Deion, and Matthew Le Reece. She was employed as a councelor at Georgia State Prison and worked there for more than 25 years. After completing her studies in Christian Education she became a licensed Minister under the leardership of the Church of God in Anderson, Indiana. She served as the Youth Minister at Collins Church of God and taught Sunday School on a regular basis. In her daily life Annette loved to praise and worship God. She was instrumental in working with the youth and led many people to Jesus Christ. However, the children's ministry was her primary focus. She is survived by her husband Freddie Pough, Sr.; daughter Crystal Leayasha Pough of Atlanta; son Freddie Pough, Jr. (Erika) of Atlanta; twins Karen Lafawn Flowers (Joseph) of Atlanta and Darien Deion Pough (Yoshika) of Hinesville, Ga.; and the youngest child Matthew LeReece Pough of Kuwait;; her mother Evangelist Pearlie Inez Ealey-Forrest of Collins, Ga; her father William Phillip Forrest of Cincinnati; one brother Rev. Mark Phillip Forrest (Kelly) of Atlanta; one sister Lorretta Curry of Cincinnati, OH; brother Howard Lamont Curry of Cincinnati, OH; sisters Martha (Craig) Crawford, Jacqueline Lundey, Phyllis Hill (deceased) ; four grandchildren Phillip Stokes and Freddie Pough III of Atlanta, Ga.; Divine Rothschild and Kemar Bone of Chicago, IL; godmother Geraldine Banks (Ron) of Cincinnati, OH; godmother Mary Helen Goines of Atlanta, Ga.; godson, William Thomas II (Tamika) of Atlanta, Ga., goddaughters Jada Lefawn Calhoun of Cincinnati, OH, Heavenly Eunice Mincey and Daleysha Domanek Mincey of Jackson, Fla. and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, neices, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 11, 2009 at 11:00am at Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Collins, Georgia burial in the Wilkerson Cemetery in Collins, Ga. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 at King and Son's Funeral Home Chapel in Glennville, Ga. Wake services from 6:00-8:00 at Collins Church of God in Collins, Ga.
